LESS IS MORE
A clear focus on what matters most.
We believe that long term investment success is based on tried and tested principles which we apply consistently.
We also view investments from a different angle including integrating lessons from investment history.
HOW TO AVOID BEING YOUR OWN WORST ENEMY
We integrate important lessons from Behavioural Investing research in our advice. The fact is that investors often fall prey to mistakes attributed to our behavioural mistakes e.g. overconfidence, herding and overtrading.
“Investing is simple, but not easy” – [Warren Buffett]
HISTORY REVISITED
“The longer you can look back, the farther you can look forward” [Winston Churchill 1944]
“The enduring lesson is not that booms can be prevented or that busts can be fully averted. It is that we need to remember how easily we forget.” [1929 – Andrew Ross Sorkin 2025]
Embedded in the mane of the mythical griffin in the Revisited logo is the number 33. This is a reference to the fateful year of 1933. First year of gains on the US equity markets following the Wall Street stock market crash of 1929 and introduction of the Glass-Stegal act in the USA. 1933 also heralded the end of democracy in Germany and the relentless march to war and eventual destruction.
The fact is that democracy, trust and the rule of law all matter for investment returns. Remembering and integrating the appropriate lessons from history in our advice service is what we do.
